What is The St. Louis Magic Co.?
My name is Steve Barcellona and welcome to The St. Louis Magic Co. Ever since that Christmas I received a T.V. Magic set I was hooked. Through the rest of my life I enjoyed watching and performing magic. As a family and a successful career in retail came along I found less and less time for magic. Though I would occasionally visit magic shops in the different cities I lived in, to hang out and see what was new. After my career brought me to St. Louis I was shocked at the lack of a good magic shop. I had never lived in a city that didn't have one. I decided to start this website. My hope was not to get rich but to keep my hand in magic and to provide a place where people could get great magic and good, honest customer service. In the almost 5 years my site has been operational you will not find one person who can say that they did not get what they ordered in a timely manner or were not taken care of if there was some kind of a problem. That is the way it should be. If you see something that you like please give us a try, I am sure you will be pleased and satisfied.

What is your shipping policy?
At the St Louis Magic Company we are dedicated to offering you quality shipping as one of our products. That's why we don't offer free shipping like a lot of other sites. We offered free shipping on our site for a few years and it was scary. The margins in this very small industry are so thin that you are forced to send products first class mail with no tracking number and pray that it arrives safe and sound. That's why we now collect a reasonable shipping charge and ship our products using the very reliable United States Postal Service Priority Mail. It is usually between $4.00 U.S. and $8.00 U.S. and your package arrives in 3 to 4 days, safe and sound, no worries. Just the way we like it. Some products on our site will require additional shipping due to weight or size. These items will be noted in the product descriptions.

Do you ship internationally?
Yes we do, it just depends on where you live. All international orders are shipped United States Postal Service Air Mail we have found this method to be the most cost effective. In most cases the shipping that appears on the shopping cart page will be the charge however, we may contact you for extra shipping if necessary. Just contact us at
and we will give you a quote. Please make sure you include your complete address and what it is that you want to buy.

How fast will your order ship?
We try to ship all orders within 24 hours of the receipt of your order. This does not include weekends and holidays. Occasionally it may take us 72 hours based on the volume of orders we receive. If there is any delay past that we will let you know via email.

What is your return policy?
When you buy magic, you are really buying two things… the gimmicked item and the secret. Once you know the secret it can never be returned. Therefore, all sales are final. No returns, no refunds, no exchanges. Not because we are mean people or we are trying to get away with something but because we are trying to protect the art of magic and it's secrets. will be happy to answer your questions and help you in any way we can. Some gimmicked items can be easily damaged if not handled correctly. Please read all instructions before handling your item. We can't exchange items broken by mishandling.
However, we will gladly replace any item with a manufacturer's defect. Please email us within 24 hours of receipt of your shipment for instructions.

How do I pay?
All transactions are processed through the Pay Pal secured server. We have processed hundreds of transactions through them with out any problems. Do you have a catalog?
We don't publish a catalog. Our most current list of products is on the website. Make sure you sign up for our newsletter so you can get updates when we have new products available or promotions.

Do you match prices? Absolutely!
We will match any website's price, provided that we carry the exact same item, from the same manufacturer. An individual item can be produced by several different manufacturers. As long as it is the same item and the same manufacturer, we'd be happy to match the price. Just email us a link to the website.

Where is your store located?
We don't maintain a storefront in St Louis; the only place you can find us is on the web. I have always dreamed of owning a magic shop but I still need to make some kind of a living. As soon as my lotto numbers come in, opening a magic store will be one of the first things on my list of things to do. It will be open from noon to two, 5 days a week. If people want to buy stuff great, and if they don't, who cares!!!
